OUR MISSION

SEVA is a non-profit community organization, based in Richmond Hill, NY. Our objective is to redefine the immigrant experience by promoting social justice through community organizing, policy advocacy, local leadership development, and education. SEVA honors current authentic social infrastructures already in place in immigrant communities and works with them to improve the quality of immigrant life on the individual level and broader immigrant community levels across New York City. SEVA serves as the brdige between the community and external service providers to not only deliver services to the community but to also develop sustainable leadership in the community.
